I stayed at Villa Galicia while walking the Camino and overall, it was a good vibe. The garden and the pool area were nice spots to chill after a long day. Only awkward part was getting the keys from a bar 300m away, but they gave us a drink to make up for it!

the check-in experience was a complete disaster, waiting two hours without assistance, and the absolute worst breakfast imaginable—just cheap bread and jam. i expected a complimentary upgrade after all that trouble but was left feeling ignored. plus, the tiny pool looked more like a puddle than anything refreshing. i almost thought about writing a good review, but just couldn’t.

Villa Galicia was a gem along the Camino. I enjoyed my stay in a spacious room with a lovely view and a private terrace that overlooked the beautifully manicured garden. The pool was a delightful way to unwind after a long day, and the staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I even got my wet clothes dried promptly for a small fee—a thoughtful touch that made my stay even more pleasant.

However, the check-in process was a bit quirky, as I had to pick up the keys from a nearby bar, which was a minor inconvenience. Additionally, sharing a bathroom with another guest could be a challenge during peak times, although I was fortunate it was empty during my stay.

Overall, Villa Galicia had charm but could benefit from addressing noise and amenity issues to enhance guest comfort.

An invigorating garden oasis & a delightful pool area awaited us! With a warm welcome created by a lovely staff, I felt right at home after a challenging day of walking.

In my wife’s opinion, extra towels by the pool would have been great.

Staying here with my family and toddler was quite comfortable. The clean room with lovely decor was inviting, and the garden was perfect for relaxing while the kids played. We also enjoyed the small pool, which was a refreshing break after our walks.

So clean and spacious, the room had a rad view. Plus, it’s super close to the town center, making it easy to hit up bars and shops after a long day.
