I stayed at Villa Galicia while walking the Camino and overall, it was a good vibe. The garden and the pool area were nice spots to chill after a long day. Only awkward part was getting the keys from a bar 300m away, but they gave us a drink to make up for it!

the check-in experience was a complete disaster, waiting two hours without assistance, and the absolute worst breakfast imaginable—just cheap bread and jam. i expected a complimentary upgrade after all that trouble but was left feeling ignored. plus, the tiny pool looked more like a puddle than anything refreshing. i almost thought about writing a good review, but just couldn’t.

A refreshing garden escape
Villa Galicia was a gem along the Camino. I enjoyed my stay in a spacious room with a lovely view and a private terrace that overlooked the beautifully manicured garden. The pool was a delightful way to unwind after a long day, and the staff was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I even got my wet clothes dried promptly for a small fee—a thoughtful touch that made my stay even more pleasant.
However, the check-in process was a bit quirky, as I had to pick up the keys from a nearby bar, which was a minor inconvenience. Additionally, sharing a bathroom with another guest could be a challenge during peak times, although I was fortunate it was empty during my stay.

The pool and gardens provided a fantastic retreat after our long walk on the Camino. The clean room featured lovely decor and a great view. Having a coffee machine available was a nice touch and made mornings more enjoyable. However, I found the noise from nearby bars quite bothersome, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. The key pickup from a bar 300m away felt a bit inconvenient, despite receiving a complimentary soft drink. A kettle and cups in the room would’ve been appreciated for hot or cold drinks. Overall, Villa Galicia had charm but could benefit from addressing noise and amenity issues to enhance guest comfort.

Pleasant Stay with Convenient Access
We enjoyed our one-night stay, with our room offering a lovely view. The coffee machine was a nice touch, although I recommend skipping the breakfast for local treats instead. Picking up keys from the nearby bar was quirky but came with a refreshing soft drink.
